Wicketkeeper-batter Bernadine Bezuidenhout is making her comeback after a long period of 2 years she was diagnosed with Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (RED-S). Jessica McFadyen couldn’t make it to the official World Cup squad and Bernadine will be making her comeback in place of her. She is currently in red-hot batting form in the domestic competitions in New Zealand which forced her way into the World Cup. One interesting fact you must know is Bernadine had previously played for South Africa before qualifying for New Zealand in 2018 which means she would have a better idea of weather and pitch conditions.
