1st Innings Summary
United Arab Emirates Women Under-19s won the toss and elected to field first which was a good decision as we have seen till now teams chasing have won all the games so to change this trend India U19 Women’s team has to put up a huge total on board to restrict UAE.
Shweta Sehrawat & Shafali Verma two in-form batters again provided a solid start in the powerplay, especially Shafali who is going very hard at all the bowlers she has faced so far in this tournament. In reply to the massive chase, team UAE’s skipper Theertha Satish started off with a flyer as she scored 16 runs off 4 balls but then her cameo came to an end when Shabnam got her wicket on the 5th ball she faced which puts up a massive dent in team UAE hopes to achieve this massive total.
