Lanka Premier League 2023 Summary
You’ll be excited to know that the 4th edition of Lanka Premier League will feature five franchises and will be played in a Double Round-robin and playoffs format from 30 July to 20 August 2023. The tournament will consist of 24 T20 matches, which will be scheduled on 2 cricket stadiums. Like previous seasons, LPL 2023 will showcase some exciting cricket action as teams compete for the championship title.
The Lanka Premier League 2023 Schedule has been carefully planned to ensure a fair and competitive tournament. The teams will face each other twice in the Round-robin stage, giving everyone an equal opportunity to showcase their skills. LPL 2023 Schedule & TimeTable
The LPL 2023 schedule and timetable have been designed to provide a fair and competitive platform for all participating teams. The tournament will kick off on the 30th of July with an opening match between Jaffna Kings and Colombo Strikers at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. This iconic stadium will not only host the the Round 1 matches, the Play-offs, and the Final.
The second venue for the tournament, Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, will host the matches in the second and third phases of the tournament. This stadium has a reputation for providing a great cricketing atmosphere and will undoubtedly add to the excitement of the tournament.

Lanka Premier League 2023 Participating Teams
The participating teams in the Lanka Premier League 2023 have already announced their captains and coaches. Colombo Strikers have chosen Babar Azam as their captain, with Simon Helmot serving as the head coach.
