CPL 2023 Schedule, Fixtures, Venues & TimeTable
Caribbean Premier League is all set to host its 11th season of the tournament and this time the great news is it will be hosted in five different Caribbean countries instead of the 4 which hosted the CPL 2022. Barbados this year will also host CPL 2023 matches which will be the first time since 2019 that any CPL match being hosted on the Island as per CPL T20 2023 schedule officially announced by Cricket West Indies. The defending Champions Jamaica Tallawahs will kick off the CPL T20 2023 journey at Saint Lucia where the first leg of the tournament will be played. Jamaica Tallawahs & Trinbago Knight Riders are the two most successful franchises of CPL and have both won the title three times.
Caribbean Premier League 2023 Summary
The tournament format of CPL T20 will remain the same like we are used to seeing in the past 10 years with 6 franchises competing against each other to be the Champions of the Caribbean. The major difference between CPL T20 & other T20 leagues is it is hosted in different small Island countries in the Caribbean which involves a new kind of rivalry and is exciting to the fans.
Like the past three years, CPL T20 2023 will again clash with The Hundred tournament which is ECB’s premium 100 ball competition as it is also hosted in August every year. Sunil Narine is the only West Indian player who will feature in both tournaments.

CPL T20 2023 Schedule & Fixtures
Like other T20 Leagues, CPL T20 also provides a home & away venue for each of the franchises participating in the tournament. The first leg will provide a home advantage to Saint Lucia Kings where they will play four of their six matches as per the CPL T20 match schedule and it will be a great opportunity for them to win maximum home matches to increase their chances for the knockout qualification.

Caribbean Premier League Participating Teams
All six franchises have confirmed their head coaches and five of them have also announced their captain for CPL 2023 edition but Saint Lucia Kings is only remaining franchise who are still analyzing their options for captaincy as coach Andy Flower likes to do this proper analysis before making decisions for the franchise which can greatly impact the performances of his team. It is to keep note that St. Lucia is also the franchise who have never won any CPL T20 title even though in the past they have had the services of Champion players like Darren Sammy and others.
