The franchise changed its name from Tuti Patriots to Salem Spartans before the 2021 season, due to the change in ownership.

As the tournament begins, the Salem Spartans are set to face off against the Chepauk Super Gillies on the 13th of June at the SNR College Cricket Ground, Coimbatore. 

After their first match against the Chepauk Super Gillies, the Spartans will face off against the Dindigul Dragons, Trichy Grand Cholas, and Lyca Kovai Kings, among others.
