PSL Draft 2025 Pick Order

As per the PCB media release, psl 10 draft schedule was announced by using a statistical tool whose main purpose was to give all franchises an equal opportunity based on the team retentions they had and all six teams could get the strongest possible lineups. The pick order for psl draft 2025 player list is as follows.

All HBL PSL 10 draft players will be picked as per the pick order mentioned above in the picture. Lahore Qalandars will the first to start the proceedings.

PSL 10 Relegation Requests

PCB allows all franchises to make use of relegation requests which helps some franchises to do better retentions. A relegation request allows the franchise to meet the player’s base category. If the player’s base category is not matched then franchises have the option to relegate a player below his base category. This process needs to have full confidence and agreement with the player before making it official.

This year before the PSL 2025 draft event, Lahore Qalandars, Karachi Kings, Multan Sultans & Islamabad United have each relegated one player before the draft.

  1. Thanks for all details
    But I have a Question
Can any team use RTM after trade?
Can Karachi kings use RTM on Imad?

    1. No.

RTM can be used for players who are picked in the draft event.

Example: Fakhar Zaman can be picked by Multan who got the 1st Platinum pick but Lahore can utilize their RTM card and get Fakhar back into their team.

      1. In that case Multan’s pick will be waisted ? or they would have a chance to pick any other player of same category.

        1. If RTM is used, then the franchise again gets the opportunity to pick a new player but the tricky part is they only get 2nd chance when another franchise decides to use RTM, and by that time other great players are already picked.

I expect Multan to go for a foreign player in the 1st pick.

  2. if Multans Sultans pick Fakhar Zaman and Lahore use RTM and get Fakhar back in their team then can Multan use their RTM to take Fakhar back again or not?

    1. No.

For the franchise to use RTM, a player must have played an earlier season with them.

Another interesting thing is both Karachi and Quetta must pick a Local player in the platinum category and as per the list only Fakhar Zaman is available. I suspect both KK and QG will use a wildcard to upgrade a player to Platinum from Diamond or lower categories.
